Computer Junk

Everyone …. Stop what you’re doing…. Reschedule your day because today is Clean Out Your Computer Day (2nd Monday of February), sponsored by the Institute for Business Technology. This is a day youu should set aside to really deep clean and organize your computer files and programs. Sounds exciting, right? You betcha!

Why do you want to do this:
-You can’t locate files when needed
-Your hard drive is almost full, slowing down your computer
-You’re running out of memory
Most of us add programs and files to our computer with reckless abandon. After all, computers have huge storage capacity. Many of these files and programs are forgotten over time. Overtime they clog memory and cause confusion during retrieval and use of other files. And, some may slow down your computer. Somewhere along the way, a (most likely) computer geek or service person, created this day as an opportunity for us to remember to cleanup and delete old and unused files.

So, get into the spirit of the day, and clean out the old computer- today is the official day to do it! WOOOEEEEEEE. This is not the first time I've done this , but it's the first time I've done it on a day that is called "Clean Out Your Computer Day". It feels good- it's like Spring Cleaning for your computer! Get rid of all the excess files you don't need, especially on your desktop, it feels and looks less cluttered. Or, wait until next COYC Day!

40 Days of Firsts Completed- 325 to go!!! Please write me, or leave comments! I welcome all suggestions :)
